Community Champions

Being a HRVCVS Community Champion gives volunteers the opportunity to become part of a team of people in the local community who collectively can use their contacts and connections to help promote and distribute health and wellbeing messages and be a voice of the community and promote CVS and its services.

Why should you become a Community Champion with HRVCVS?

Becoming a champion is an opportunity to spread awareness about health messages to your community. Stepping into the role of a champion in your community means creating open and supportive conversations around health. A champion is a trusted member of the community and seen as an influential person who people listen to and can encourage their peers to access health pathways.

What you will receive as a Community Champion

You will receive monthly materials such as leaflets and flyers to help educate members of your community about concerns and risks. Detailing vaccines, workshops, community programs and opportunities as well as any training we are able to provide to enable you to be more educated and speak out on more health issues. This will also give you an opportunity to have a voice and give feedback to your local PCN and make a difference.
